Jonathan Yuen

This piece is created by Singapore-based designer Jonathan Yuen, who's art reminds me of the classic Japanese ink-on-paper style with a rorschach type of spin put on it. Yuen's art mostly depicts a single subject engulfed in some peaceful act or hobby. This piece for example is a man playing with two coy fish, there's one looking through a telescope or a little girl viewing butterflies. I think these pieces are so effective because of the sheer simplicity of the subject and piece (in the sense that it's one image slapped in the middle), but also achieves beauty with bit of complications the actual image have.

I highly recommend looking at his sight because his sight is as peaceful and thought out as his design.
