Mighty Macro

Here's another example of macro photography that I had to include. With the development of lenses that allow for a microscopic focus it's enabled us to learn so much more about the tiny creatures that roam our planet. These creatures being specifically insects it's weird that these pictures are able to give these creatures so much more of a presence - as opposed to just being an annoying housefly that lives to torment. The macro imagery gives us a real feel for how these insects are built and move and generally live and I feel that this is a very interesting scientific breakthrough that's only achievable through the art of photography.
